We are London TKD
For over a decade, London TKD has partnered with schools, families and communities across London and Surrey to bring martial arts to children who might never otherwise have tried it. What began with a handful of school clubs is now the UK’s leading martial arts programme for kids, with over 140 partner schools and thousands of children supported along the way.
We are not here to create champions, although plenty of our students go on to achieve remarkable things. We are here for something simpler and bigger than that: to help every child grow into the best version of themselves.
Our Approach
Every London TKD class follows The Blackbelt Journey, our structured pathway that takes a child from their very first lesson through to Blackbelt and beyond. It gives your child something to work towards every single week, with progress they can see, feel and take real pride in.
Classes are structured, energetic and filled with positive reinforcement. We set clear expectations, give consistent feedback and celebrate progress at every stage. We proudly welcome children of all abilities and backgrounds, and we tailor our teaching so that every child moves forward at their own pace.
Because it is not about being the best. It is about giving your best, and growing week by week.
Our Instructors
Behind every class is a professional Instructor who is far more than a skilled martial artist. Our team is trained in taekwondo instruction, child psychology, educational development and motivational coaching, and they lead with patience, purpose and passion. It is why every student feels supported, challenged and inspired throughout their Blackbelt Journey.
